Playing with light & shadow

What do we associate with California? Palm trees, surfing and a light lifestyle. Especially Los Angeles as a city offers maximum contrasts. In the design study we designed numerous compositions of powerful light & shadow. Colored into the sunset, a young and dynamic lifestyle was created. The color-intensive images are rounded off with black and white shots of palm leaves, which are supportive but not distracting.

Grown-up

Mino wanted to change their market position with a new playful and light look, that is sustainable and mature at the same time. The choice of colors and the execution of light and shadow make the product stand out from direct market competitors and big players such as NIVEA alike.

For the right selection of color, we investigated the reaction of light on glass. The natural color combinations of this physical process, were used in the further brand concept. We chose complementary and softer blue/green tones to the dominant orange and red tones. The result is a fresh and homogeneous appearance for the complete Mino branding.
